Visiting Jean Jaurès 1 School in France, March 2012

We were welcomed by the headmistress and the
mayor of Brignoles.

The students also welcomed us with
 self-made flags

The students performed several songs that they had rehersed for.

Every day we met and worked together with the project "Blue Gold for life".
We visited english-classes in both pre-elementary, elementary school and participated in the teaching.

We also visited the Highscool of Brignoles, and we were able to observe and listen to the communication between the teacher and the students.
Working hard

Students works

The students had been working hard since the visit in Norway,
and the Jean Jaurès school was covered with the most beatiful
paintings. Even a reindeer was watching the entrance of the scool!

Little Rudolf is guarding the entrace...

The students
had made some
beuatiful pictures
of "aurora borealis"
- the nortern lights.

The students had also been working with species that lives i the water, and the result
could be seen all over the scool.

Only the fantasy set the limits

Beautiful colours

We vent to Monaco for a daytrip to see some of the species ourselves,
and it was amazing to see all the beautiful and
strange creatures.

The last day of our visit in Brignoles we went to the old city with some 5th degree
students. we spent the aftenoon searching for some of the fountains that are lokated
in the city. Each of us got a map, a lot of questions and 3 students to help
us find the fountains. With the aid of some pictures and the map we ran around in the old city
with the students.

the students werw writing diplomas for us after we had found all the fountains.
They all did a great job, helping us through the puzzles.

We wish to thank you all for a fabulous week, and for all the new knowwledge
we could bring with us back to Norway.
